Sound Transit’s East Link Extension project will ultimately provide light rail service from Seattle’s Central Business District to Redmond’s Overlake Transit Center by 2023. As the Lead Roadway Engineer on a 1.8- mile double-track aerial, at grade, retained cut and retained fill light rail guideway within this corridor, Concord is providing design-build services for Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Traffic Signals, Roadway Illumination, Pavement Markings, and the Traffic Management Plan (TMP) and Traffic Incident Management Plan (TIMP).  This busy corridor includes two pedestrian bridges over SR520 and is located predominantly within the SR520 Right of Way, beginning at NE20th Street in the City of Bellevue and ending at the Overlake Transit Center at NE 40th Street in the City of Redmond.  The project will be physical completed and fully commissioned in 2019.
